Patterns have made a huge comeback this year, especially on fabrics for furniture. The influences are found from all over the world, Mexican, African, Bohemian, Indian, all sorts of interesting styles. They are painted, beaded, embroidered and clearly show influences from all areas of the world.

Adding patterned chairs to a neutral room is a great way to test your courage and make your style unique. If a patterned piece of furniture isn't in your comfort zone, try adding pillows with larger than life colors and patterns. And be sure to cross pollinate the colors for a cohesive final design.
